This wasn't his first time in Granite Cave. But he'd returned to uncover the glimpse of a certain pokémon he'd spotted prior. Entering the expansive cave system far more discreetly than before, this time around, the young royal walked beside his loyal Leavanny, Acacia. She appeared eager to assist her master in this endeavor.

Rather than take a left at the fork, as he had done the last he'd been here, Remiel took a right. Eventually, the tunnel lead him into a large chamber with strange crystal-like formations jutting out from the ceiling. He took a moment to regard them... until the sound of an approaching pokémon suddenly made itself known.

A Scizor had made itself known with the light tap of its footsteps. If it hadn't been for the echo in this chamber, Remiel might not have heard it. It appeared this Scizor was lighter than most of its kind. But this wasn't the pokémon he'd seen prior, so he had no interest in catching it regardless. He waited to see if it would leave after spotting him and Acacia... when it charged for the latter instead, however, he commanded his pokémon.

"Sticky Web." He spoke, gesturing towards the Scizor with a wave as the Leavanny unleashed a wide net of web in its path. Unfortunately, it cut through the web with an X-Scissor fairly easily... but still managed to wrap its claws up in the sticky substance. Realizing several tendrils of it were still connected to Acacia, Remiel made another command as the Scizor kept closing distance.

"Electro Web." And it would prove successful in shocking the metal beast, eventually prompting it to scurry off as electricity surged throughout its body.

Ahead of them, there was a Mawile. It hung its large jaws off the side of a ledge, remaining perfectly still as it seemingly waited for curious prey to approach. Its Sweet Scent, in fact, appealed to Acacia's tastes as a bug. When she took a step forward to draw closer to it, however, Remiel held her back with a single hand.

His calm blue-grey eyes shifted towards his pokémon. Was she really so foolish? "Trap," He spoke, pointing at the poorly disguised Mawile. "And not a good one at that... let's move on." He finally said, gesturing for his Leavanny to follow as he did just that.

Remiel sighed. It was getting late. And the being he'd spotted here before hadn't appeared yet. In fact, he had a feeling it wouldn't appear at all. He was wasting his time. And the heir of Calcifet hated wasting his time. So, scanning the area once more but finding nothing but a lone Klefki that floated by, he went.

Acacia was quick to keep herself in close tow. She'd been eager to see her master smile tonight, at least a little bit. But now she wore a frown knowing she wouldn't.
